A Method for Monitoring Tetraplegic Patient

The present invention relates to a method for monitoring a tetraplegic patient. The method is performed by using a system for monitoring the tetraplegic patient, wherein an array of pressure sensors is incorporated into a pillowcase of a pillow for a head of the tetraplegic patient to lay down. The method is able to detect pressure exerted from the tetraplegic patient’s head position and translate the head pressure distribution to trigger an alarm.
