Bar Damper

The present invention provides a passive damping device comprising a first plate having a first bottom surface. Further, the passive damping device comprises a second plate having a second top surface and a plurality of bar shaped projections projecting out of the second top surface, the plurality of bar shaped projections having a plurality of respective top bar surfaces. Further, the first plate is attached to the plurality of bar shaped projections such that the plurality of top bar surfaces is butting the first bottom surface. Further, a method for manufacturing of the passive damping device is also provided.
