Bio-Model and Method of Manufacturing a Bio-Model

A three dimensional bio-model for simulating surgical procedures comprises a synthetic anatomical structure such as an organ, or tumor; characterized in that the bio-model further comprising a scaffold configured to support the synthetic anatomical structure . The scaffold supports the synthetic anatomical structure in an anatomically correct position within the bio-model. The scaffold may be configured to allow the synthetic anatomical structure to move in a way that mimics a true anatomical structure. The bio-model may be manufactured using medical image data for an anatomical structure. The bio-model may be manufactured using three dimensional printing technology.
