Hyperoxygenated Media Alternating Vacuum Assisted Closure System

The present invention disclosed a Hyperoxygenated Media Alternating Vacuum Assisted Closure (HAVAC) system which is able to promote wound healing. The HAVAC system consists of the hyperoxygenated media irrigation phase (Phase 1) and the vacuum assisted closure phase working phases. In a preferred embodiment, the HAVAC system according to the present invention consists of a hyperoxygenated media; an irrigation reservoir; a fluid outlet valve; a fluid irrigation tube; a spongiform material dressing; an adhesive drape; an evacuation media tube; a phase alternate valve; a vacuum pump; a pump outlet tube; an evacuation media filtration and disposal unit; and a filtered evacuation media tube.
