Inducible PMT-GFPABDA vector construct and its uses thereof

The present invention disclosed a pMT-GFPAbdA plasmid that is able to induce expression of Abdominal-A-Green Fluorescent Protein (AbdA-GFP) tagged fusion protein. The pMT-GFPAbdA plasmid is a 5.2 kb expression vector designed for use with the Drosophila insect cell lines. Upon transfection, the vector allows transient, inducible expression of AbdA-GFP tagged proteins in Drosophila cells.
