Method and System Of Processing An Image Of Bone

The present invention provides a method and system of processing an image of bone to assess the age profile of the bone. An age profile of interest covers age, from one to thirteen; gender; and ethnicity of bone. Each bone image is unique with a corresponding image histogram. The profile of the bone can be determined by generating and matching the image histogram of bone image in query with image histogram of other bone image with tagged profile stored in a database. This approach overcomes the segmentation problem of prior art.
