Ultrasonic Motor

The present invention provides an improved piezoelectric tubular ultrasonic motor comprising of a tubular piezoelectric ultrasonic motor assembly and a housing assembly. The tubular ultrasonic motor assembly further, including a preload adjustment sub-assembly that in cooperation with the housing assembly provides a mechanism for applying an adjustable preload to a rotary shaft/rotor of a tubular piezoelectric ultrasonic motor.
