The present invention relates to an oligonucleotide set for detecting and/or quantifying human rhinovirus (HRV), characterised in that the oligonucleotide set comprises nucleotide sequences selected from SEQ ID NO:1, SEQ ID NO:2, SEQ ID NO:3, or complementary nucleotide sequences thereof, or a combination thereof. The present invention also provides a method for detecting and/or quantifying human rhinovirus using the oligonucleotide set.
