The present invention relates to a device for suppressing pathogen infection in plant comprising a chamber. The device is characterised by an ultraviolet-B, or UV-B, source, an ultraviolet-C, or UV-C, source, a platform, a fan, and a control unit. A method for suppressing pathogen infection in plant using the device is also provided.
