An Apparatus for reducing Bridge Scour

The invention provides an apparatus for reducing scours which formed at the vicinity of a structure extending upwardly from the floor of a stream comprises a deflector lying horizontally on the floor, having an aperture at a generally middle section, allowing the structure to pass through the deflector and to penetrate into the floor; characterised in that top surface of the deflector has a protrusion that surrounds the structure for directing incoming flows of the stream.
