Anti-Alphavirus Composition

A pharmaceutical composition for use in treating or preventing an alphavirus viral infection in a biological system, comprising an active compound of formula I where R1 to R6 are as defined herein and wherein the treatment or prevention is achieved via inactivation of the alphavirus virus, inhibition of alphavirus viral replication or inhibition of alphavirus viral growth.
