Method and Kit For Simultaneous and Rapid Detection of Prawn Viruses

In one aspect of the invention, there is provided a method for detecting at least two prawn viruses in a prawn sample, comprising the steps: extracting the DNA and/or RNA from the sample, amplifying the DNA and/or RNA via two or more primer sets, each primer set containing different oligonucleotides, and identifying at least two prawn viruses; characterized in that each primer set comprises at least 6 nucleic acid sequences selected from the sequence groups represented by SEQ ID NO: 1-6, SEQ ID NO: 7-12, SEQ ID NO: 13-18, SEQ ID NO: 19-24, SEQ ID NO: 25-30, SEQ ID NO: 31-36, SEQ ID NO: 37-42 and SEQ ID NO: 43-48 of the Sequence listing.
