A Vision Aid for Color Blind People

The present invention relates to a colour detection system comprising an illuminating means for illuminating a target object, a data 5 processing unit; and a display unit, characterized in that: the illuminating means comprises multiple illuminators having multiple colours including white, red, green, blue, yellow and orange; wherein the white light emits prior to emission of the red, green, blue, yellow and orange colours; the data processing unit comprises a light receiving element for receiving reflected light from the target object; a microcontroller for receiving an electrical signal corresponding to the reflected light and determining a colour of the target object based on calculation of colour error between a ratio of coloured light reflection to reflection factor value of the reflected light and a threshold light wavelength value; wherein said colour error is performed using fuzzy logic; and the display unit displaying an output signal received from the data processing unit.
